Ladies! In order to show our appreciation to all of our loyal Fans and Friends we have partnered with The Stockyard to bring you a very special ticket opportunity. On Wednesday evening July 15th The Stockyard is Giving new meaning to the term Hump Day. Join Amanda at The Stockyard for "Ladies Night Out" with "Hunks The Show" the Ultimate Vegas Experience Male Revue.

Tickets for this event are regularly $8.00 in advance or $10.00 the day of the show. But simply tell Bob you want the Lockren ticket special and receive 2 tickets for $10.00. The doors open at 6:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm. The Kitchen will be open so come early and enjoy a great dinner. Ladies you do not want to miss this show. 6/30/09 - Fans and Friends of LOCKREN

Please join us Friday and Saturday July 10th and 11th for 2 huge shows.

First join us Friday evening July 10th in Arlington, IA for Arlington Days. Come early and enjoy all of the high powered excitement of the Arlington truck pull and then immediately after the truck pull join us in the beer garden for all of your Top 40 Country Hits and Classic Rock Favorites. The truck pull starts at 7:00pm sharp and we will take the stage at approximately 9:30pm. There is an $8.00 admission for the entire evening and this event is open to all ages.

Then join us Saturday July 11th for “Barnyard Bash ‘09”. A full day of Music, Food, Games, & Fun. The 1st band will take the stage at noon and there will be non stop music all day ending with the Band Lockren playing from 11:00 to close. There will also be Sand Volleyball, Horseshoes, Beer Pong, and Billiards throughout the day and you will not want to miss the Wet T-Shirt Contest at Midnight. There will be a men’s and women’s division with $100.00 1st place prize to each division. There will also be Food available from 11:00am to close and John’s BBQ serving at 5:00pm until all of the BBQ is gone. There is a $7.00 per person cover or $10.00 per couple cover charge for the entire days events. Please join us Saturday evening July 4th in Shell Rock, IA for Shell Rock 4th of July Celebration. Shell Rock is known for its annual 4th of July Celebration, a 4 day celebration (Thursday July 2nd thru Sunday July 5th) which includes events such as a parade, spectacular fireworks, Family Day, Food Vendors, Live Music, Beer Garden, & More. We will take the Main Stage from 8:00pm to 12:00am with Fireworks begining at 10:00pm.

The Band Lockren

There is no doubt that female country is one of the fastest growing areas of the music industry and the band "Lockren" is here to bring it to you. We are one of only a hand full of bands in the Midwest that features a female lead singer. This allows us to do something completely different in the live music industry. The band "Lockren" was started during the summer of 2005 and is made up of a great mixture of youth and experience.

Our first experienced member is Jon Purdy on Guitar. Jon is a veteran of over 35 years of playing experience around the U.S. and abroad before returning home to Cedar Falls. On Bass we have Brian Sanny and Brian is a veteran with over 15 years experience and call Coralville home. And on Drums from Cedar Rapids we have John Rohlf. Our final member, and bringing the youth and enthusiasm to the band, is a 22 year old from Coggon, Amanda Loughren. Amanda started her singing career at the ripe old age of 13 at her school variety show and has been singing ever since. Amanda has earned the respect of her piers with her vocal ability that is second to none. Amanda's vocals, combined with the harmonies, make this band something special and an experience you will not soon forget.

The band Lockren is primarily a top 40 country band with music from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, Sugarland, Trick Pony, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley, and Johnny Cash to name a few. But we do not stop there. We have something for just about everyone with classic rock favorites from artists like AC/DC, Joan Jett, Led Zeppelin, Pat Benatar, and ZZ Top among others.

Since our beginning in 2005 we have been fortunate to be the opening act for Craig Morgan, Gary Allen, Jason Michael Carroll, and Rodney Atkins and we have gained a lot of new fans/friends and we are all very excited about our future. So make your plans to come join the "Lockren" experience soon, and we hope to see you at a gig in the very near future.
